When using Native SQL to directly manipulate database tables, it makes a difference to use COMMIT WORK key words compared to not using.
If we updated the database in program by statement like INSERT or MODIFY, etc., the changes made to the database table will merely be temporarily affected if your program logic flow later occurs an E message or corruption. It means those changes will not be applied if your program later meets an error. This is because that we have not used the key word COMMIT WORK, which implement the changes we’ve done to the database table immediately and then even if your program later comes across an error, the changes won’t be rollbacked.
